MTN Joyous Celebration brings 20th anniversary tour to Polokwane

Acclaimed gospel mega group, MTN Joyous Celebration, will perform on Meropa Casino and Entertainment World’s lawns on 10 September as part of the 20th Anniversary Tour.
Loved by thousands, this gospel ensemble is celebrating two decades of success in the South African music industry.
The anniversary celebrations commenced with a live CD and DVD recording of ‘Joyous 20’ at a packed Durban based Moses Mabhida Stadium in December 2015, whilst the rest of the country tuned in live to SABC 1 to catch a glimpse of the extravaganza.
Since then 13 sold-out shows in eight cities have been staged as part of the celebrations and the national tour.
The show is an audio-visual spectacular with signature moves, majestic voices, unmatched harmonies and spectacular costumes that have become synonymous with the ensemble and have endeared them to fans across the globe.
“We are delighted to confirm that MTN Joyous Celebration will make its way to Polokwane to treat gospel music fans to a special evening of glorious worship in celebration of its 20th anniversary,” says Raksha Gunpath, the Public Relations and Promotions Coordinator at Meropa.
The family friendly show will start at 17:00. Tickets are available at Computicket and prices start from R200.
