Two new records at interhouse gala

Stanford Lake College recently held its Inter House Gala in the school’s new High Performance Centre.
Tayla Coad was named the Junior Victrix Ludorum and received the Reed Trophy as well as the De Vos Trophy for the girls.
The Zamparini Trophy went to Junior Victor Ludorum of the meet, Stephan Joubert. The best senior girl swimmer of the day, Anke Vaughan was named Victrix Ludorum and received the Burelli Trophy. She was also the recipient of the Scott Trophy for the Stanford Lake challenge: girls. Austin Johnson, Senior Victor Ludorum, received the Schofield Trophy as well as the Wilson Trophy for the individual medley.
Two new records were set by Sarena Wolff, in the girls’ u.16 freestyle and backstroke.
Anika Schmidt won the girls’ u.14 backstroke in a new record time while Ryan Schultz improved the record in the boys’ u.16 freestyle.

Glenys Tweedy Trophy for house with most spirit: Loomis
