Ronald Segage takes lead at Bidvest McCarthy Pre-owned

With eight years of experience in a managerial position in the motor industry, is the newly appointed Sales Manager at Bidvest McCarthy Pre-owned, Ronald Segage convinced he knows very well what most clients need and what they are looking for in pre-owned vehicles.
“I need to assure clients that we are here to stay. I hope to lure more new clients to the floor and that sales will pick up speedily with the motivated sales team,” Segage said.
He started his career in the motor industry at Mercurius Motors’ parts department in 2000. In 2006 he joined Auto Pedigree in Tzaneen as sales consultant and relocated to Louis Trichardt in 2008 to take over as sales manager. In 2013 he couldn’t refuse an offer for the same position in Thohoyandou after which he recently started at McCarthy in the City of Stars.
“My goal is to offer clients the best vehicle-buying-experience. I know the trade and I know clients want honest service, affordable cars and a reliable brand,” Segage said.
He added that vehicles at McCarthy undergo an 80 point check and most vehicles have low millage and clients can be sure getting value for money. “I am energetic and the sales team is just as eager to make a difference in the pre-owned market. We want McCar­thy to become the first choice at prospective clients. Buyers also need to give us a chance first to experience hassle-free car shopping,” Segage said.
He said the future of pre-owned vehicle dealerships look rosy as new vehicle are becoming more expensive with two price increases already seen this year.
In his free time Segage likes to play soccer. “A fresh body ensures a fresh mind. I am also a big rugby fan and keen Springbok supporter,” he said.
