Mall of the North (MoN) is known for the ample entertainment it provides learners during the school holidays and this year was no different with the hosting of the amusement park as well as an exciting PlayStation soccer tournament that was hosted over the weekend.
Learners from across the city who visited the mall had the opportunity to show off their soccer skills with a PlayStation control in their hands. Learners battled it out in front of two television screens over a three day tournament.
Organiser Katlego Matli said the event was very successful and learners had an exciting time. “Apart from learners from Bendor, Seshego and even Turfloop we also saw learners from Johannesburg visiting the city participating. A learner from Seshego, known as David won the tournament and walked away with a R500 Game shopping voucher,” Matli said.
MoN Marketing Manager, Rene van der Merwe expressed her gratitude towards Matli for hosting a successful event in an effort to assist the mall in entertaining learners.
