Local teen goes missing

The police have launched a search operation for a 15-year-old girl from Lebowakgomo.

LIMPOPO – Police are searching for 15-year-old Moraka Sphiwa Shamine, learner at Derek Kobe Secondary School. Shamine was last seen by her mother on Wednesday, 21 April who told police that her daughter left the house without informing her where she was going.

Police Spokesperson, Lt Col Mamphaswa Seabi said the teenager was last seen wearing a black skirt and a peach coloured Nike T-shirt.

“Search operations conducted at relatives and known places she frequently visited, have not been successful and the police appeals to the community to help locate the teenager.,” Seabi added.

Anyone with information that can help reunite the missing teenager with her family, can contact the investigating officer, Lt Col Nyamanyawo Thomas Baloyi at 0825658234. Alternatively they can contact the 24-Hour Crime Stop number at 086 001 0111 or the nearest police station or MySAPSApp.
