Limpopo’s records 1 575 new Covid-19 cases in last 24-hours
As of 13 January the cumulative number of positive Covid-19 cases stand at 40 364. Here is breakdown of positive, active cases and deaths recorded in each municipality.
LIMPOPO – According to the latest statistics by the Health Department, the province has a total of 10 137 active cases after 1 575 new cases were reported in the last 24-hour reporting cycle.
Of the new cases reported, the Capricorn district recorded 521 new cases, followed by Mopani with 387 cases. The Vhembe district reported 307 new cases, Sekhukhune had 247 and Waterberg 106 cases. To date 169 757 tests have bee conducted, 64 664 in the public sector and 105 093 in the private sector.
