[LISTEN] Ndlovu Youth Choir covers Christmas hit
The choir from Moutse in Limpopo have put a special spin on Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas Is You.
LIMPOPO – With the words: “I don’t want a lot for Christmas. There is just one thing I need,” Mariah Carey wowed the world in 1994 when she released the song, All I Want For Christmas Is You.
The song recently returned to number one on the Billboard Hot 100, however, the Ndlovu Youth Choir’s version of the song has grabbed the attention of South Africans.
The choir from Moutse in Limpopo, who made a name for themselves on America’s Got Talent, released their rendition of the song on Sunday, 13 December.

The song has thus far managed to receive 13,845 views and is certain to be on the playlist of many this festive season.

The choir added a special message in the caption of the video, with the words: “May our performance of Mariah Carey’s ‘All I Want for Christmas is You’ be a timely reminder to make this Christmas special for those at risk this year.
