A showcase of Limpopo’s top tourist attractions
The Limpopo Tourism Agency will host their Holiday Fair event at Savannah Mall from Friday, with the goal of providing local tourism attractions an opportunity to share and market their offerings to the local market.
POLOKWANE – What is great and wonderful about provincial tourism will be on show at Savannah Mall in Polokwane from Friday, 4 December.
The Limpopo Tourism Agency will host their Holiday Fair event at the mall until Sunday, 6 December and this provides local tourism companies a chance to showcase their products and offer packages ahead of the festive period.
These companies will be expose to various clientele and the LTA says this fair is an initiative by the agency, which is aimed at positioning tourism on the domestic market.
The event further aims to provide local tourism attractions an opportunity to share and market their offerings to the local market. Both LTA and the Limpopo Provincial Tourism Association will use the event as a foundation and building block for the mega consumer platform of the province.

According to the the agency’s Chief Marketing Officer, Ndahve Ramakuela, the event will be a perfect platform to create a provincial tourism exhibition for emerging small, medium and micro enterprises and the industry in general.
“The event will facilitate and build partnerships between the public and the private sector in order to foster tourism marketing and transformation in the tourism industry. The Holiday Fair is seen as an opportunity for the agency to create awareness to the citizens of Limpopo to travel and get to know their province. The LTA is confident that the event will contribute to the conversion of visiting friends and relatives segment into leisure tourists through a display of things to do and see around the province. This will happen under a new normal with all visitors to the stalls and exhibitors observing Covid-19 related protocols.”
He added that the event formed part of the agency’s summer campaign which is aimed at promoting and driving domestic tourism.
