Severe thunderstorm warning issued for parts of Limpopo
SA Weather Service says the storms may lead to flooding of low lying areas.
LIMPOPO – The weather service has issued a yellow thunderstorm alert for the south western parts of Limpopo. The service warns of sever thunderstorms, hail and possible flooding of low lying areas from this afternoon and into the evening.
Areas to be affected include Mokopane, Modimolle, Mookgophong, Lephalale, Bela Bela, Thabazimbi, Elias Motsoaledi/Groblersdal and Ephraim Mogale/Marble Hall.

Rain is expected to continue until Wednesday. Rain often lifts oil and debris from road surfaces which can result in slippery road conditions, therefore, drivers are advised to slow down and increase their following distances.
