Limpopo’s Covid-19 active cases at 525

A total of 38 new positive Covid-19 cases were reported in the last 24-hours.

LIMPOPO – As of 29 September, the total number of positive Covid-19 cases stands at 15 252, of which 525 cases are active.

According to the latest stats issued by the Department of Health, 386 people have died from the virus and 14 341 people have recovered.

A total of 39 new cases were reported in the last 24-hours, of which the Capricorn district recorded the most new cases (15) followed by Mopani (13), Vhembe (4) and three each in the Sekhukhune and Waterberg districts.

A total of  96 059 tests have been conducted, 47 440 in the public sector and 48 619 in the private sector.
