Polokwane Police Station closes again after Covid-19 cases

It is the second time in two weeks that the station has had to close its doors for decontamination.

POLOKWANE – The Polokwane Police Station has again been closed for decontamination after some officers tested positive for Covid-19.

Police Spokesperson, Brig Motlafela Mojapelo said in a statement that temporary arrangements for the provision of policing services have been made.

“The telephone lines at the Polokwane Police Station will not be accessible for the duration of the closure. Members of the community from the affected station precincts are advised to use 086 001 0111 for emergencies and the numbers provided for all other complaints,” Mojapelo said.

Temporary arrangements: 

Services will be rendered from the the buildings on the corner of Hans Van Rensburg and Bodenstein streets. The numbers to call are 079 889 5794 or 079 894 5541. Alternatively, contact Lt Col Fulscher at 082 565 8520.

The Polokwane Police station will again be fully operational on Thursday, 30 July.
