Limpopo: 19 more Covid-19 deaths

This brings the total of Covid-19 related deaths in the province to 64.

LIMPOPO: The province recorded 19 new Covid-19 related deaths and 357 cases in the last 24 hours.

According to the Department of Health 19 more people have died, bringing the total of Covid-19 related deaths to 64: seven in Polokwane, two in Ba-Phalaborwa, two in Tzaneen, two in Ephraim Mogale and one each in Lepelle-Nkumpi, Molemole, Giyani, Elias Motsoaledi, Collins Chabane and Thabazimbi, respectively.

Of the 375 cases, 117 were reported in Capricorn, 97 in Waterberg, 62 in Sekhukhune, 45 in Vhembe and 36 in Mopani district.

The province currently has 5 746 cases of which 2 886 are active, 2 796 have recovered.

To date 30 401 tests have been conducted of which 17 756 were in public sector and 12 645 in the private sector.
