LIMPOPO – The two men who were arrested for poaching following an incident on a farm in Botlokwa outside Tzaneen over the weekend, appeared before the Morebeng Magistrate’s Court yesterday.

The two, one of which is a police sergeant attached to the Tshwane Metro Police, were part of a group of four men who were involved in the poaching incident. “It was reported that they entered the farm by cutting a fence. They then shot an ostrich, loaded it into their vehicle and left the scene,” said Police Spokesperson, Brig Motlafela Mojapelo.
