151 new cases as Limpopo reaches 1 500 mark

No new deaths have been recorded while 11 more people have recovered from the virus.

LIMPOPO – The Limpopo Department of Health says 151 new cases of Covid-19 have been recorded in the last 24 hours.

Waterberg has the most new cases with 51 followed by Capricorn with 39. Sekhukhune district has 26 new cases while Vhembe and Mopani recorded 19 and 16 more respectively.

The number of recoveries has grown by 11 people and sits at 646. Deaths due to Covid-19 remain at 13.

There are currently 917 active cases which brings the total of cases recorded in the province to 1 576. Three cases are in-transit.

Polokwane has the most cases with 317, of which 209 are active, 102 recoveries and six deaths.
