Limpopo Covid-19 cases hit 800-mark

The province reported 131 cases in the last 48 hours

LIMPOPO – The total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Limpopo stands at 819 with 387 recoveries and five deaths on Saturday, 27 June.

According to a statement published by the Department of Health, the province reported 70 new cases in the last 24 hours; 11 in Lephalale, 10 In Polokwane, six in Tzaneen, six in Thabazimbi, five in Lepelle Nkumpi, five in Thulamela, five in Elias Motsoaledi, four in Fetakgomom Tubatse, four in Makhuduthamaga, four in Collins Chabane, two In Giyani, two in Modimolle-Mookgophong, and one in each in Ba-Phalaborwa, Blouberg, Letaba, Maruleng, Makhado, and Bela Bela, respectively. Three cases are in transit and five are unallocated.

The department confirmed that 427 cases are active.
