Limpopo Covid-19 cases rise to 345

Of the 16 new cases reported, 15 positive results came from tests done in the private sector.

LIMPOPO – As of 15 June the number of positive Covid-19 cases in Limpopo stands at 345, with 199 recoveries.

The province reported 16 new cases in the last 24-hours; two in Polokwane, three in Ba-Phalaborwa, three in Thabazimbi, two in Fetakgomo Tubatse, two in Thulamela and one each in Greater Giyani, Tzaneen, Maruleng and Mogalakwena areas, respectively. One new case is in transit.

According to the latest figures released by the Department of Health, the province has142 active cases and four deaths.

A total of 21 547 tests  have been conducted; 12 769 public of which 21 tested positive and 8 778 private of which 324 tested positive.
