Soccer World Cup 10 years on: Were you there?

POLOKWANE – On 13 June this year, it will be 10 years since the first match of the 2010 FIFA Soccer World Cup was played at the Peter Mokaba Sports Complex. The match between Algeria and Slovenia, which was won 1-0 by the latter, was one of four group matches played at the venue.

The other matches played at the stadium was a 2-0 victory for Mexico over France on 17 June, a 2-0 victory for Argentina against Greece on 22 June and a goalless draw between Paraguay and New Zealand on 24 June.
