Seshego: Boyfriend arrested after woman’s body is found in shallow grave
The woman was in January this year reported as a missing person.

POLOKWANE – Police Spokesperson, Col Moatshe Ngoepe said the man appeared in the Seshego Magistrate’s Court today, 5 February.
“He was remanded in custody until 23 March for further police investigations,” Ngoepe added.

POLOKWANE – The body of the 27-year-old Kgotatso Pula has been found after she was reported missing in January this year.
According to Police Spokesperson Motlafela Mojapelo, the discovery of the body was the result of an intelligence-driven operation in Seshego yesterday by members of the police’s Crime Intelligence Unit, the Provincial Investigations Unit, Provincial Tracking Team and Polokwane Local Criminal Record Centre.
Pula’s body was discovered in a shallow grave in a backyard at Moletji Ga-Setati, at the same location she was visiting at the time of her disappearance.
“What was initially thought to be a case of a missing person, turned out to be a gruesome murder that was concealed for almost five months,” according to Mojapelo.
The missing person’s enquiry was transferred to the Provincial Investigations Unit when she could not be found after a search operation.
“A team of investigators led by Lt Col Richard Boshomane was assembled and commenced with investigations. Members of the team received information that led them to a spot on the family premises of a man believed to have been her boyfriend, where her remains were exhumed from a shallow grave,” Mojapelo confirmed.
A 30-year-old man has been arrested for her kidnapping and murder, and he is expected to appear before the Seshego Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 25 May.
