Young author releases her first anthology and pens inspiration

The 21-year-old author, Mushayathoni Bridget Nwovhe, has released her first anthology entitled Calendar's Time.

LIMPOPO – She was born and raised in Makonde village, Limpopo.

She said during her days at primary school, she was too naive to embrace her talent.

“I write to inspire people. I always want to connect to humanity in everything I do,” she added.

She further said she draws her inspiration from an internationally renowned author, the late Maya Angelou.

“I named my book Calendar’s Time because there will always be a day in a calendar where I will cry or be joyful,” she said.

She aspires to own a publishing company where she will help young writers to unwrap their dreams.

She encouraged aspiring authors to be dedicated and committed.

“The best resource is the power of your mind. No person can stop you unless you decide to. Learn to trust the dynamics inside of you,” she said.

She said the book is available at R150.

“People can contact me on Facebook at Mushayathoni Bridget Nwovhe or e-mail me at bridgetnwovhem@gmail.com,” she concluded.
