LIMPOPO – The suspect was apprehended by a mob, who dragged him to a local tribal court and accused him of the murder of another man in the village.
On arrival at tribal court, the group brutally assaulted the man with various objects. He died on the scene.
According to police spokesperson, Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe, the deceased has been identified as Collen Bopape (24), a local in the village.
Ngoepe said when police arrived on the scene, they found just the body.
Ngoepe appealed to anyone with information to contact their nearest police station, to phone the crime stop number, 0860 010 111 or to SMS the crime line at 32211.
