Community retrieves bodies of 2 boys from dam

Two bodies of boys aged eight and six were discovered by the community in a small dam at Mashishimale, Namakgale on Wednesday

LIMPOPO – Two bodies of boys aged eight and six were discovered by the community in a small dam at Mashishimale, Namakgale on Wednesday.

According to provincial police spokesperson, Col Ronel Otto, the boys were part of a group that decided to cool down in the dam after playing in the area.

“The boys got into difficulties and drowned. Their bodies were recovered by the community around 16:00,” said Otto.

With the school holidays in full swing and the weather conditions getting extremely warmer, Otto appealed to communities to look after therir children and always know of their whereabouts.
