More protest action reignited in Burgersfort on Wednesday and the situation is tense
LIMPOPO – Protests in Phasha, Mampuru and Tukakgomo in Burgersfort recently ended, but more protest action reignited on Wednesday, reported the Steelburger.
According to reports, the situation is tense and the town has been shutdown.

Provincial police spokesperson, Col Ronel Otto, said the community protested outside the municipal building, where a meetng with delegates from the different mines was held.
“They attempted to build a wall on the R37 to block traffic, but they were dispersed by the police and the air wing. The road is currently open, but the community is still protesting. The situation is tense,” said Otto.
