PEOPLE who knew driving school owner Alex Rammbuda (33) are still in shock after his death in a motor vehicle accident at the Tshilamba T-junction on Saturday morning.

Rammbuda was the owner of Mutshipisi Driving School in Dzimauli-Matshavhawe under the auspices of the Rammbuda Traditional Authority.

Mutale police spokesperson, WO Tshilidzi Nyambeni, said a two-year-old girl also died in the accident, while the girl’s mother was in a critical but stable condition at the Pietersburg Provincial Hospital. He said a case of culpable homicide was investigated.

Koto Rammbuda, Alex’s younger brother, said the untimely death of his elder brother had devastated the family.

He said Alex left his wife, Thabelo Netshiendeulu, two children, Sedzani (6) and Uhone (1) behind and the funeral would take place in Mutale on Saturday.

Mutale mayor, Sarah Rammbuda, expressed her heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and said the municipality was deeply saddened by the death of Alex, who used to contribute immensely towards the upliftment of communities in the area.
