Mr and Miss Makhanya is crowned

THE 2014 Mr and Miss Makhanya Junior Secondary School were crowned during a glittering event held at the school in Mandlazi recently.

Abrade Manyike was crowned Miss Makhanya, while Mikateko Mathebula and Mitchell Shiburi were chosen as the first and second princesses respectively.

Wisani Mathebula took the Mr Makhanya title, while Thanks Mhlongo and Dennis Ngobeni came in in second and third place respectively.

All top three contestants in both categories received prizes.

These were in the form of bursaries to study computer courses at Avuxeni Computer Academy.
