[WATCH] Bumper-to-bumper traffic in Polokwane CBD

Bumper-to-bumper traffic has been reported on several streets in and around the central business district (CBD). This is due to the Armed Forces parade which is due to start in about an hour.

Here is video footage from Grobler, Hans van Renburg and Thabo Mbeki streets.

Traffic in Schoeman Street has also been affected.

Roads closures are as follows:

Spokesperson for the Polokwane Municipality urges road users to exercise patience, use alternative routes and avoid Hans van Rensburg, Schoeman, Thabo Mbeki, Grobler and Jorissen streets.
