Northern Muslim School honours Gr 12’s of 2019.

The class of 2019 were sent off with well wishes and were encouraged to stick to their roots and not forget where they came from.

POLOKWANE – Gr 12 learners at Northern Muslim School were awarded for their exemplary work during 2019 and for achieving a 100% pass rate at an intimate prize-giving on Thursday evening, 23 January. This was the first awards ceremony of its kind at the school and was aimed at motivating the class of 2020, who were also in attendance.

The school’s Deputy Principal, Tasmia Moosa said the class of 2020 should aspire to be like their predecessors and produce quality results for the school.

“Northern Muslim School is one of three schools in the province who had never received less than a 100% matric pass rate since it was founded,” she said.

The school’s top learners were identified as Tasnim Bhuiyan in first place and Raddiyah Hoosen and Muhammad Motala in second place. The class of 2019 were sent off with well wishes and were encouraged to stick to their roots and not forget where they came from.
