Limpopo Top Teen Face of the Year photographic competition open for entries
All the teenagers in Limpopo who have great, youthful photographic features now have an opportunity to start building their brand.
LIMPOPO – The Polokwane Review and Milestone Events are looking for the photogenic teens and talented photographers in Limpopo.
The Limpopo Top Teen Face of the Year competition will open doors to girls and boys between the ages of 13 and 18, to be spotted through the lens of a professional photographer.
Dia van Staden, owner of Milestone Events and previous convener of the Miss Limpopo and Teen pageants, organiser of the Prom Nite events, states: “We have great photographers in our province. This competition wants to give teens an opportunity to be recognised for a photographic modelling future, to show their natural beauty or just to have fun.”
According to Dia and Joline Nash, editor of the Polokwane Review, the judges will be looking for a unique look and natural beauty of a teenager, revealed in the photographs. Photographers will be challenged to capture the true personality of each teen in a scenic atmosphere of Limpopo’s natural surroundings.
The monthly finalists will be announced on the Facebook and Instagram profiles during every last week of the month. Entries cost R150 per person. Only ONE entry per person, per month will be allowed.
Monthly entries close on the last Monday of each month, January to September2020.
Rules and regulations:
1. Only girls and guys between the ages of 13 and 18 may enter.
2. She / He must currently be a scholar in Limpopo Province.
3. The Photographer must be Limpopo based.
4. Entries may only have ONE person on the photo. No group photos will be allowed.
5. Finalists will be selected from the photographs.
6. One (1) head-and-shoulder photo AND one (1) full length photo must be included with the completed entry form. You will be disqualified if you send more than the two required photographs.
7. The photos must be full colour photo. NO other colour will be allowed.
8. Photographs may not be older than one (1) month.
9. No photographs in swimsuits or lingerie allowed.
10. ALL photographs must be taken OUTDOORS. No studio photos allowed.
11. Entries to be handed in at the Review offices, 42 Fosfaat Street, Ladanna, Polokwane.
12. Entries can be e-mailed to dia@mweb.co.za. The size of the attached photos must be at least 2MB each, and in Jpeg format. It can ONLY be sent via Wetransfer.
13. NO Whatsapp entries will be allowed.
14. Finalists will be announced on the Facebook and Instagram profiles on a monthly basis.
15. Entries cost R150 per person. Only ONE entry per person will be allowed during 2020.

16. Monthly entries close on the last Monday of each month, January to September 2020.
17. The monthly finalists will participate in a one day workshop and judging sessions on Saturday, 24 October 2020.
18. The announcement of the winners in various categories will take place during a cocktail event on Saturday, 24 October 2020.
19. Finalists will be required to avail themselves for photo and/or modelling services for special occasions for Milestone Events & Training and Polokwane Review.
