Eksteen’s fighters excel at 15th dojo battle

Karateka's from the Congo kept a crowd of onlookers highly entertained at the 15th Battle in the Bush All Styles Invitational Contact Karate Championships which was recently hosted by the Henri Eksteen Bushido Freestyle Karate do Institute.

POLOKWANE – The championships, hosted at Eksteens Dojo, was held in memory of the late father of British karate, master Ronnie Colwell. Eksteen is the SA Executive Director for the Global fraternity, The World Tora Budo Kai. The event included VIP guests from Gauteng as well as fighters from the Congo who showcased dynamic performances in both the kata and kumite black belt men’s and veteran’s divisions. “The event proved to be another huge success and participants who received first place will qualify for Eksteen’s Ryu Bushido Freestyle Karate SA national colours,” said Eksteen.
