Ntlakuso’s wheelchair puts a smile on his face

Before the donation, he had to literally crawl his way around.

LIMPOPO – The physically-challenged Ntlakuso Makhubele of Majosi could not stop smiling after receiving a new wheelchair last Thursday.

Makhubele, whose family finances are tight, last week received the wheelchair from a community builder, Chief Livhuwani Matsila.

Before the donation, he had to literally crawl his way around. Matsila said he was touched by the plight of the disabled boy.

“I have done so many things for my community in line with what the Bible prescribes, that the left hand should not know what the right is doing.

“This time around I decided to come out into the open to encourage those who are blessed to think about the poor who are near them.”

He said that helping his community and bringing joy to the helpless, is what keeps him going.

Makhubele’s grandmother, Betty Baloyi, said she was grateful for what Matsila has done for her family.

“Previously, it was hard to leave Ntlakuso alone in the house. I prayed for an angel to come and do good by not only my grandson, but others too. May God bless Matsila and his work,” said Baloyi.
