Trust Mosaic for your child’s early development

The centre's principal, Anri Matthee, says what makes them different is that they are individual- orientated and give special attention to the education of each child.

POLOKWANE – Mosaic Early Childhood Development opened its doors to the public on Saturday, 5 October. The purpose of the open day was to allow prospective parents to see the school and its facilities. The day allowed the visitors to see their children’s learning environment and to form relations with the teachers.

The centre’s principal, Anri Matthee, says what makes them different is that they are individual- orientated and give special attention to the education of each child. Anri says the school offers classes for children aged between 18 months and five years.

She says the school does not use over stimulating decor to ensure that the children can learn in a natural environment.

Elmarie Swanepoel is the child-music teacher and says that her purpose is to develop the children’s learning abilities and increase their enthusiasm for learning. The school offers exploitative and descriptive learning. She offers classes to learners from newborns to eight.

Her classes are also available to learners in other schools. Anri says the school provides meals to their learners which are included in their fees. “We offer plant-based meals that cater to the mental stimulation of the learners.”
