Fashion Designer Bruce Diale says the way women dress during pregnancy can say a lot about how society views and treats them. “But that should be the least of your worries when you get the best advice from experienced fashion designers such as myself,” he said.
Bruce tells REVIEW though loose clothes are comfortable to pregnant women, wearing a loose dress with high heels will look glamorous and fashionable. “When you’re pregnant, I would prefer ladies to wear block heels, so that they’re more comfortable to wear and walk in, than stilettos (thin heels). If you can match your doek with your shoes, that will make the colours you’re wearing pop nicely,” he added.
He further explains that nowadays, women can freely acknowledge and celebrate their bodies and their pregnancies. “Even in comfortable dresses, pants, high heels etc, one can choose just how much you want to show off,” he added.
