Modimolle woman (71) murdered, man asked to assist police with investigations

Police are asking Morris Maripa to go to the Modimolle Police Station or the nearest police station to assist with the investigation into the murder of Trudy Grabe

LIMPOPO – Premlimenary police investigations into the murder of 71-year-old, Trudy Grabe have revealed that one of her ex-employees was seen leaving her house on the same day that her body was found in her yard.

Police have since requested that Morris Maripa go to the Modimolle Police Station or the nearest police station to assist with the investigation.

Spokesperson, Col Moatshe Ngoepe says police received a report of a woman who was found critically injured in her home on Friday, 23 August and responded. On arrival, Grabe was found in her yard with multiple injuries and was certified dead on the scene.

“A case of murder has been opened. Anyone with information that can lead to the arrest of the individual(s) involved in the matter may contact Detective Sergeant Amanda Rossouw at 071 133 8524; the crime stop number 08600 10111 or the nearest police station,” his statement concluded.
