Planned electricity shutdown to affect Seshego on Sunday

The Polokwane Municipality says electricity supply will be restored once their technicians are done.

POLOKWANE – Residents in Seshego will be affected by a planned electricity shutdown on Sunday, 25 August, between 08:00 and 16:00.

Municipal Spokesperson, Thipa Selala says this is due to the re-routing of High Tension (HT) cables.

“This activity will affect areas that are fed by the hospital substation including Luthuli Park 9A and 9C, Zone 2, Ext 73, Madiba Park, Seshego Circle Centre, Seshego Hospital, Zone 1, Seshego Police Station and the stadium. Electricity supply will be restored once our technicians are done,” he said.

Selala further advised residents to switch off all electrical appliances and treat all electrical wiring as live during this time to avoid injury and any damages that may occur when electricity supply is restored.
