Two bodies found in a room in Jones Street

According to information at our avail, the house where the men resided is occupied by many people, renting rooms from the landlord.

POLOKWANE – An autopsy will reveal the cause of death after the bodies of two men, aged 22 and 24 were found in a room at a house in Jones Street.

According to WO Lesiba Ramoshaba, Police Spokesperson an inquest docket has been opened, but the cause of death will only be confirmed once the autopsy report has been received. The next of kin of the men have been informed.

One of the people in the neighbourhood said late-night parties with a lot of noise and music throughout the night are the order of the day at this house each weekend.

The two men have apparently taken a braai stand into their room after partying throughout the day, and the cause of death is speculated to be asphyxiation due to the inhalation of carbon monoxide.
