Phelophepa Health Train to arrive in Mokopane on Monday

MOKOPANE -The Transnet Phelophepa Healthcare train will be at the Mokopane station from 22 to 26 July.

This health clinic on wheels including screenings for cancer and diabetes. There will also be a dental and eye clinic, as well as a pharmacy and medicine dispensary.

Phelophepa, which means “good, clean health”, is a unique mobile healthcare clinic that uses the existing rail network and travels to remote communities in South Africa, where dental, optometry, psychological and pharmaceutical services are offered.

Arrive early and remember your clinic and immunization card. For children, treatment is scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
