More than 5 000 people affected by tripped Eskom breaker in Mankweng

The Polokwane Municipality says Eskom's technical maintenance team is trying to locate the fault.

POLOKWANE – Eskom has not estimated restoration time as yet, following a mass outage in the Mankweng area, reports the Polokwane Municipality.

Municipal Spokesperson, Thipa Selala says the municipality received an alert from Eskom Limpopo’s Operating Unit that a breaker in Mankweng had tripped, affecting more than 5 000 clients.

“Eskom says their technical maintenance team is trying to locate the fault and no estimated restoration time has been set as yet,” Selala’s statement concluded.
