Acolly writes and sings music in Tshivenda and says he has had an interest in music from the tender age of 9-years-old when he would play a tin guitar which was made by his father. “I have always loved music and playing instruments such as the piano and guitar. I was also inspired and influenced by my fathers love for music. He has produced a few albums himself which further prompted me to never sit on my singing talent and ability,” he explained.

Acolly says he enjoys performing and plans to grow his brand so that he can inspire other upcoming musicians.

“Being a musician is hard work. There are a lot of aspects one must consider, such as marketing, branding and copyrighting. I have three albums thus far and my recent is an 11 track album called ‘Elelwani’,” he added.

Acolly has collaborated with some well known musicians in Limpopo including Vendaboy Poet, Fizzy, Rhuu Tshikovha, Lebmap and Prolific and works closely with producer, Mr Main, who produced his second and third albums.

His music can be found across social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and SoundCloud.
