5 ways to wrap up stylishly this winter
We are still at winter's mercy and it is easy to get bored with having the same old way of wearing a scarf. Jerry Pitja has a few suggestions on how you can wrap it up this season
POLOKWANE – Bonus spoke to Jerry Pitja, a stylist, fashion advisor, style blogger and owner Da Elegency Boutique, who shared advice on the different ways of wrapping a scarf to give your outfit new life:
The City slicker
Pull the loose ends through the loop of the fold.
The Ivy Leaguer
The scarf may be worn draped over the shoulder or tucked into a buttoned jacket or blazer.
The Connoisseur
Bring one end over and then tuck it under the other end. Lay the scarf around your neck such that both ends are parallel in the front. Drape the front end over the back, adjusting the length to your liking.
The Jet Setter
There’s no knot here, just a light drape around your neck that leaves one end shorter than the other. Throw the longer end of the scarf across the front of your neck and let it hang over your opposite shoulder.
The Weekender
Tuck both ends into the wrapped scarf . Start with one end in the front, close to your neck, and wrap the long end around your neck until it is short.
