Water supply from Olifantspoort plant to Polokwane temporarily stopped due to Specon pipe burst

POLOKWANE – Lepelle Northern Water (LNW) has temporarily stopped water supply from Olifantspoort plant to Polokwane due to pipe burst along the Specon pipeline.

According to statement issued by the Polokwane Municpality, LNW estimates the downtime to be around four hours.

“It will take around four hours for the repairs to be done and in the meantime all areas of supply including the city and Seshego will be affected.”

They add that water supply will be restored once the repairs have been completed. “We urge those who are receiving water to use water sparingly,” the municipality concluded.
