Transform your winter look with a beanie, cardigan or a scarf
Jerry Pitja of Da Elegancy Boutique shared what is currently trending in men's fashion, when it comes to these three items and also gave some tips on how to wear them correctly.
POLOKWANE – Winter is approaching and men’s fashion has to switch up in order to fit the weather. Three fashion items that can transform a look are beanies, scarves and cardigans.

Yes, men do wear cardigans and they don’t necessarily have to look feminine.
Jerry Pitja of Da Elegancy Boutique shared what is currently trending in men’s fashion, when it comes to these three items and also gave some tips on how to wear them correctly.
Beanies:
1. High-top beanie – Can be tricky to pull off, but looks great when worn correctly.
2. Hipster beanie – This style has become amazingly popular and it sits above the ears.
3. Fisherman hat – The major trend- driven style, so it’s one of the must- have beanies.
4. Cuffed beanie – This is a classic beanie which has been around for so many years, it’s attractive if worn in different looks.
5. Slouch beanie – This is made famous by stylish man, David Beckham, which can be great with casual wear.
Scarves:
1. Classic scarf – A long scarf often made of wool knit or cashmere. We find these scarves in bright colours or various prints, to dress-up dark suits.
2. Plum feathers – They are super soft and made from luxurious cashmere and come in bright Scotch patterns. Fashion-lovers who like to make a statement would appreciate it.
3. Fullron – A cashmere scarf usually worn with classic wear. It’s silky and comes in patterns such as floral and African print.
4. The round shape scarf – Made of wool and comes in plain colours or print. They go very well with casual wear.
Cardigans:
1. The Pokemon cardigan- Made with rich wool and has pockets, available in different colours with buttons from the chest going down.
2. V-neck cotton knitwear – It makes it easier for men when worn with a formal shirt and tie.
3. Missoni stripe pattern – Most streetwear guys rock it during winter, since it has bright colours and different patterns.
4. Banana republic cotton shawl collar cardigan – Can be used to substitute your normal jersey. Goes along with denims and track pants, since it has baseball patterns on it.
