Rejoyce is finally set to jet off to Bangkok, Thailand
The 23-year-old entrepreneur once again has a reason to rejoice, after the community of Mmotong in Moletjie rallied together to raise the final money she needed for the trip
POLOKWANE – Rejoyce Legodi will be jetting to Bangkok in Thailand for the 5th Global Entrepreneurship Bootcamp 2019.
Rejoyce’s story started in March, when she pleaded for assistance with funding to help her make her way to the four day boot camp that will take place from 27 to 30 June this year. Throughout the bumpy journey she had a few close calls where she almost did not making the target of R 7 300 registration fee, as well as having to raise money for travel expense. However, once again the 23-year-old entrepreneur has a reason to rejoice.

The community of Mmotong in Moletjie rallied together to raise the money that she needed for the flight. The community became aware of her plight to raise money for travel expenses and one of the points they raised during the weekly community meeting, was how they could assist her in achieving her dream. “They asked me what I still needed and I explained that I needed to pay for the flights and the chief donated R 7 000 and the headman donated R 5000 to help secure the flight,” she said.
The flights has been booked and everything is ready, she is just waiting to depart on 26 June and will return on 1 July.
“I am super happy, I’m over the moon. The love I got is just sky high and I pray that it won’t end with me. There are young people out there that are in need of help, so people should go out there and make those donations. Anything is possible, and prayer is the best medicine, God hears our prayers and he acts upon them. If you are out there in need of help, go out there, market yourself and knock on those doors,” she said.
