Karate academy to be headed by Sensei Moleti Moloto
International Karate Organisation (IKO) Nakamura Kyokushinkaikan was launched at the Limpopo Karate Academy on Saturday, 23 March.
POLOKWANE – There are between 60 and 70 karatekas in the academy. IKO Nakamura Kyokushinkaikan is a full contact knockdown oriented karate style organisation whose headquarters are in Japan.

In South Africa, and Africa, IKO Nakamura Kyokushinkaikan is led by Shihan Wandile Ncapai who is a seventh dan black belt. He was appointed by the headquarters in Japan, as the country representative and Branch Chief in South Africa and Africa at large.
He paid a visit to the academy for the launch and also showed the karatekas some techniques. Sensei Moleti Moloto, third dan black belt, is responsible for Limpopo.
“We have three clubs in the province. One in Nirvana, one in Moletjie Moshate and one in Mmotong wa Perekisi.”
