Modjadjiskloof supermarket robbed: identikits of possible suspects released

The Police in Modjadjiskloof are looking for a group of suspects responsible for a supermarket robbery at ga-Sekgopo village on Thursday, 14 March.

LIMPOPO – “It is alleged that a 45-year-old security officer was on duty patrolling the premises when he was attacked by a group of about 15 armed suspects who pointed him with firearms and tied him up with cable wires. The suspects then broke into the store and loaded  groceries and electrical appliances worth thousands of Rands into their blue Corsa vehicle without registration numbers, before they fled the scene,” Police spokesperson, Col Moatshe Ngoepe said.

Preliminary police investigations have revealed that the suspects used the victim’s phone to call the store manager, demanding the keys to the safe, but they failed, he added.

The people reflected in the attached pictures are requested to report at Modjadjiskloof Police Station or at the nearest Police Station to assist the police in investigating this matter.

The police further urged anyone with information that can lead to the arrest of suspects involved in this matter, to contact Captain Richard Makhukhu at 082 414 2736. ALternatively that can contact the crime stop number 0860010111, the crime Line SMS 32211 or the nearest police station.
