Do your bit for Cansa and donate to the R10 prize table
Brainchild behind the idea, Selma Liebenberg says wants to run the same stall for the October Cansa Relay and invites the community to donate items towards the table.
POLOKWANE – At the Cansa market that was held over the past weekend, all those involved made a determined effort to attract the crowds to their stalls and in turn, encourage the crowds to spend money for a worthy cause.

One such stall was the R10 prize table. The table was laid out with various prizes, ranging from toys to stationary and those interested were encouraged to buy a ticket for R10, to win the prize specified inside.
Brainchild behind this idea, Selma Liebenberg, said she came up with the idea in an effort to get people to have fun and at the same time donate to Cansa. She wants to run the same stall for the October Cansa Relay and invites the community to donate items towards the table.
“I want this table to be the biggest ever and I would love to see people donate things that they have around the house and not longer use or need. These items that just lie around your house could mean the world to someone else, so please donate them and make someone else smile,” she says.
