[BREAKING NEWS] Prominent businessman targeted in armed robbery near Cycad

Police are currently on scene at Cycad Estate where the suspects were caught

POLOKWANE – Reports have been received of an armed robbery in Natorp Street near Oosskool earlier this evening.

It is believed an unknown number of suspects attempted to rob a businessman outside his house when shots were fired.  Unconfirmed reports suggest that R4, R5 as well as 9mm guns were used during the incident.

Reports suggest that the suspects were nabbed near Cycad.

Review is awaiting confirmation from police on whether or not there were any injuries sustained.

The name of the businessman is known to Review but is being withheld until confirmation of the incident is received
