Police seek assistance in locating murdered Transport Dept Director’s two vehicles

The partially burned body of Marks Rambau, who was attached to the Limpopo Department of Transport in Polokwane, was allegedly dumped next to the new Peter Mokaba Stadium by two unknown suspects on Tuesday night, 15 January.

POLOKWANE – Police in the city are making an appeal to anyone with information that can lead to the arrest of  Marks Rambau’s killers, as well as assistance in locating his two vehicles that have gone missing since his disappearance.

The vehicles have been described as follows:

• A beige Jeep Wrangler (CJP 881 L).
• A Blue VW Polo (BLM 773 L).

The partially burned body of Marks Rambau, who was attached to the Limpopo Department of Transport in Polokwane, was allegedly dumped next to the new Peter Mokaba Stadium by two unknown suspects on Tuesday night, 15 January.

Police spokesperson, Col Moatshe Ngoepe says the suspects were said to be a male and a female and were allegedly driving a blue VW Polo.

Provincial Commissioner of the South African Police Service in Limpopo, Lieutenant General Nneke Ledwaba has already established a team of investigators to assist local police in tracing the killers.

“Police are also investigating the possibility that the said vehicle that was used by the suspects, might belong to the deceased,” Ngoepe added.

Anyone with information about the said vehicles or killers is requested to contact Captain Philip Sekhwela at 0727178344 or Captain Makokona Ntini at 0731490140.

“Any information received will be treated with the strictest confidentiality,” Ngoepe concluded.
