Man (35) arrested for speeding at 178km/h near Nyl Plaza

The man was travelling from Johannesburg to Zimbabwe

POLOKWANE – A 35-year-old male was arrested this afternoon, 21 December, for speeding at 178km/h in a 120km/h zone.

The man was arrested on the N1 next to Nyl Plaza and was driving a Honda Sedan.

Spokesperson for the department, Matome Moremi-Taueatsoala, says the man was travelling from Johannesburg to Zimbabwe and has been detained at the Mokopane Police Station.

Moremi-Taueatsoala has reiterated that Limpopo is a zero tolerance zone and those who do not obey the rules of the road will be dealt with without any mercy.
