Try your hand at this old school art and craft
With the school holidays upon us, many parents are at their wits ends trying to find ways to keep their little ones busy without having to spend too much.

You will need: toilet paper roll, glue, paint brushes, paints, scissors, canvas or cardstock
Take a toilet paper roll.
Press the paper roll down to make it flat.
Start by cutting the paper roll to six equal parts. If getting six equal parts from one toilet paper roll seems like a stretch, use two paper rolls.
Put aside the five parts and take one, cut at one end (where it folds)

Prepare your canvas, you paint it to give it character. Dip one side of paper roll mini rolls into glue on it’s bottom half.
stick it to the center of the canvas to create the body of the butterfly
Do the same with the other parts, dip them in glue and stick them to canvas to form the butterfly wings
Allow the glue to dry.
