Muni says Olifantspoort plant is finally operating at full capacity and pumping to Polokwane

Most of the the city, Mankweng, Mamabolo and Seshego have been experiencing water shortages following challenges experienced by the two plants.

POLOKWANE – The Olifantspoort plant is reported to be operating at full capacity and pumping to Polokwane, says the Polokwane Municipality. The Ebenezer Plant is currently running two pumps but the Municipality says it will take some time before all areas are restored as all reservoirs were depleted.

Water tankers will be deployed in areas experiencing water shortages. 

Most of the the city, Mankweng, Mamabolo and Seshego have been experiencing shortages following challenges experienced by the two plants.

The municipality has urged areas receiving supply to use the water sparingly.
