[UPDATE] 40-year-old man killed in R101 accident
This after a sedan and a truck collided head-on along the R101 between Mokopane and Polokwane early this morning.
LIMPOPO – On person died and a second sustained serious injuries in a head-on collision near Weenen Midway Bricks along the R101 earlier this morning (Wednesday 5 December).
The collision between a Toyota sedan and an Isuzu truck happened at around 05:00. It is suspected that the truck had a burst tyre.
According to reports a 40-year-old passenger in the sedan was killed and a driver sustained serious injuries.
The exact caus eof the collision will form part of a police investigation.

One person still trapped in accident along R101 – report
LIMPOPO – This after a sedan and a truck collided head-on along the R101 between Mokopane and Polokwane early this morning.
According to reports one person is still trapped. Services are currently on the scene and traffic is backed-up.
Motorists in the area are urged to use alternative routes. This is a developing story.
